Well, I finally got around to drawing Yoda. Initially, I was going to draw Yoda as a "mashup" with Gizmo from Gremlins, but then I realized that Yoda needs the page to himself, AND he needs me to try something different.

So, with this drawing, I decided to go blacks, whites, and greens from his lightsaber. As with the last piece (jax), I started by laying all the thick blacks, and then came back around with the finer lines.

This one I learned from my main mistake with the last one, however, as I decided to NOT go too dark with the linework. I typically start with the face when I do these pieces, so if you go dark with the face, you typically have to go dark with the whole piece.

I'm not sure if I'll continue using multiple colors in pieces I'm working on (since I want to place them in an artbook in black and white), but it still makes for a really fun way to look at the pieces.
